My opinion 1st step is to hide the filter text input if attribute is encrypted : this fix this issue.

2nd step : add a dropdown (multiple if needed) for single choice. But it's another feature.

For open text, If you need to query with wildcards it may not be possible

No disable. You are still able to search by exact word. Which is what the tooltip states.

Ah : compare must be different in case attribute is uncrypted, not the same logic than the fix on current statistics where the «type» of attribute is checked :).

I think tooltip is somehow not too intuitive and can easily be missed.
But I guess ticket can still b closed, right?
